We are proud to partner with Burnley Leisure & Culture to host dedicated Girls Football sessions right here at the West End Community Centre.

Whether your daughter is a complete beginner looking to make new friends, or a budding Lioness wanting to improve her skills, these sessions provide a fantastic, supportive environment. Led by qualified coaches from Burnley Leisure, our grassroots football program is designed to get local girls active, build their confidence, and foster a genuine love for the game.

Navigating the world of Special Educational Needs (SEN) can sometimes feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. Freddie's Friends is a dedicated SEN support and play group hosted right here at the West End Community Centre in South West Burnley.

£4 per person (Parents/Carers Free of Charge)

Keeping young people active, engaged, and healthy is a top priority for us. That is why we have teamed up with the fantastic coaches at Burnley Leisure & Culture to bring multi-activity Youth Sports sessions here to the centre.

The Youth Sports program offers a dynamic mix of games and activities designed to get kids moving, learning new skills, and having a brilliant time with their peers.

• Variety of Activities: From classic team games like basketball and relay races to new and exciting fitness challenges, the activities change regularly so there is always something fresh to enjoy.
• Professional Coaching: Sessions are planned and delivered by fully qualified, DBS-checked coaches from Burnley Leisure who know exactly how to keep kids motivated and entertained.
• Inclusive and Pressure-Free: These sessions are all about participation, not perfection. We welcome all fitness levels and abilities in a supportive, completely pressure-free environment.
• Health and Wellbeing: Regular physical activity builds strong bones and muscles, improves cardiovascular health, and is a fantastic mood-booster after a long day at school.

Celebrate the end of the school week at the West End Community Centre! Every Friday night, we transform our main hall into a dedicated space for local teenagers to hang out, dance, and catch up with friends in a fun and secure environment.

We know it can be tricky for teenagers to find places to socialise locally on a Friday evening. Our Teen Disco provides the perfect mix of great music and independence for young people, alongside the peace of mind that parents need.
